... and Veronica shut the curtain!

http://www.repubblica.it/2009/04/sezioni/politica/elezioni-2009-2/veronica-divorzio/veronica-divorzio.html

After having always blamed Veronica Lario for what seemed to me faked complaints on his husband obvious behaviours (I mean YOU married it, and you keep staying with him, so don't bother us on newspapers with your marital distresses), now I read on "La Repubblica" she asked for the divorce. And, as many times I do, I have slightly changed my opinion on this question, when, just 5 minutes ago, I read the article.
Provided that this is not the nth comedy in the Berlusconi saga, and provided that there is an ounce of sincerity in what I have read, I saw her for the first time as a simple woman who was stucked with a guy, than she married him, trying to balance her values with his disvalues, perhaps also because she was bound to Mr. Shortness by the social link of marriage, and then she realized the false step. But, eventually, she got rid of him, even if this will mean to feel the whole Italy against her. Well, in the end, everybody can untie the gordian knot unintentionally did and left you slushed in a mud you didn't feel yours. Even Veronica, speaking with friends, was almost surprised that "all the country justifies and admits everything which comes from its emperor". All the country but her: she released herself from his fiendish appeal.
...iustitia omnibus...

Ok, perhaps I built castles on Sunday newspaper bullshit, but... GIRL POWER! ;-P
